Payroll giving

Payroll Giving (also called Give As You Earn) is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax free basis. Employees can choose to support the charities and good causes of their choice with a regular donation direct from their pay.

Why give through my payroll?

Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p. This ensures that the charities receive maximum benefit.

Payroll donations are great for HemiHelp, as they provide us with a reliable income stream that helps us to plan longer-term.

Some employers will also match your gift. This means that HemiHelp will receive double the amount of your donation without you having to do anything.

What do I need to do?
