Edinburgh Fun Day, June 2008

On Sunday 22 June 2008, HemiHelp travelled to Edinburgh for a day full of fun with families from all over Scotland - from as far afield as Inverness and Carlisle.

The Yard provided a fantastic venue. The day’s activities included drama, pottery, badge making, go-carting, dressing up and playing in the outdoor adventure playground.

Here’s what some parents had to say about the day...

"We had a great time and there was plenty to do. It was good to see that you're not the only one out there and it was good to catch up with other parents and chat about different experiences."

"Thank you for all the hard work you put in to organising this event for us. We had a fantastic day with such a wide range of activities for children of all ages."

"Drama was just Cameron’s cup of tea for making him feel a bit more confident and it made me realise this is perhaps an area we should look into."

"I love attending HemiHelp functions as its great fun for the children. I also love meeting other families with children as it is great to exchange experiences and difficulties."

"Thanks also for such a helpful event last Sunday. It was great to meet different families and learn from each other. Jamie had so much fun on the bikes!"
