HemiHelp is first and foremost a support group for parents of children with hemiplegia. We provide information and support through our website, helpline, home visiting service and message board.
We have a helpline run by trained volunteers who are themselves parents of children and young people with hemiplegia. The helpline is open 10am-12pm and 7pm-9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week during school term time, on 0345 123 2372. Find out more about the HemiHelp helpline >>
You can also contact our helpline by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to the volume of enquiries we receive it may not be possible to deal with all enquiries immediately, but we will aim to reply within 5 working days. If the enquiry is urgent you can always call our office during working hours (9.30-5.00) on 0345 120 3713.
Family Back Up service
This service is run by a team of qualified professionals that have personal experience of hemiplegia. Our home visitors give support on the phone or in person on a range of different issues including education, access to benefits and other issues relating to life with hemiplegia.
