Cake and conversation
One of the big aims of Awareness Week is to get people talking about hemiplegia. Here are two good ways of doing this, and both involve CAKE!
- Chat with your friends... Put the kettle on, bake some cake, and have a chat about what hemiplegia means to YOU. Or, get them to ask you some questions. It’s OK to ask!!!
- Tell the wider world... Your classmates, your colleagues, your neighbours...anyone! This is a slightly more daunting task, but cake is a very good way to grab people’s attention. So why not hold a cake sale and hand out a leaflet or one of our “It’s OK to ask” postcards with each cake you sell?
