Cake and conversation

One of the big aims of Awareness Week is to get people talking about hemiplegia. Here are two good ways of doing this, and both involve CAKE!

  1. Chat with your friends... Put the kettle on, bake some cake, and have a chat about what hemiplegia means to YOU. Or, get them to ask you some questions. It’s OK to ask!!!
  2. awareness week

  3. Tell the wider world... Your classmates, your colleagues, your neighbours...anyone! This is a slightly more daunting task, but cake is a very good way to grab people’s attention. So why not hold a cake sale and hand out a leaflet or one of our “It’s OK to ask” postcards with each cake you sell?

Here is a link to simple cake recipes!
