AbilityNet has received further funding from the Roald Dahl Foundation for the Play at ICT project supporting children with a neurological condition under five years old in Northern Ireland.
The Funding from the Roald Dahl Foundation will provide training, assessments, support packs and a loan bank of assistive technology for those participating in this project. The project is aimed at increasing the utilisation and awareness of the value of accessible technology for children with a neurological condition under five to increase their learning potential.
AbilityNet are already working with 27 childrens centres and have provided direct support to over 70 children with the loan of equipment such as touch screens, switches, keyboards, mice and individual assessment.
We are looking to support 50 children centres and nurseries over the next 2 years. While continuing to support the additional children centres we are currently working with.
If you require further information or would like to be involved in this exciting project please contact Caroline Holden at AbilityNet on 0800 269545 or email email@example.com.
