Fundraising Intern

Would you like to make a real contribution to an ambitious, expanding National Children’s Charity?

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right attitude and skill set to make a lasting mark by supporting our community fundraising team. HemiHelp receives no government funding and continues to be self-supporting: around half of our funds are raised by family members. A wide network of volunteers work with the staff team to provide HemiHelp’s support and information services for children and young people with hemiplegia, their families and the professionals who support them. Our main aim is to help every child with hemiplegia to reach their full potential.

We are looking for a hands-on person to assist the Community Fundraiser with day to day administrative tasks, and to support our team of fundraisers who are taking part in a whole programme of Challenge events this summer. This role would suit someone who is able to make a definite commitment, and would like to make a real contribution to the valuable work we do. A dedicated and hardworking intern will be rewarded with a rich and fulfilling period of work experience.

Candidates may not need previous experience of fundraising but the ability to learn, be highly organized and have a positive and friendly attitude is a must.
